Joan Hornig created this bust called, "Blue Bob." She's an artist, mother, teacher, and farmer living in Alaska. A while back, there was a fire at Joan's place and it destroyed a great deal of her artwork. Thankfully, "Blue Bob" was elsewhere and survived. I think she's a woman's Mona Lisa. And she brings to mind a line I like enough to remember from a poem by Theodore Roethke: "She moved in circles and those circles moved."
